The Commissionerate of Mines Labor Welfare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced the following educational schemes to the children of mine workers (boys and girls) who are studying in session 2023-24.
Online applications are required on the Department's website (www.cmlw.gkp.pk) up to 31-03-2024.  1 Children of miners who are studying in class I to master classes.
Children of miners who are studying in government professional educational institutions (medical and engineering).
Children of mining workers who are position holders in the top 50 in any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
The disabled children of mining workers who are studying in the Institutes for Education of Special Children.

• It's essential to submit applications by March 31, 2024.

Terms and conditions for the KPK Mines Labor Scholarships 2024 advertisement:

• Applicants are required to submit all necessary documents along with the application form. Failure to do so will result in rejection of the application. Additionally, only one application per current class session will be accepted.
• If any information provided in the application form is found to be inaccurate, the applicant's father (who is a mine laborer) will be liable to pay double the amount spent on the child.
• Online registration is compulsory to avail of the scholarship. Failure to register online will lead to rejection of the application.
• A miner, as defined under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise Duty on Destinations (Labor Welfare) Act, 2021, is eligible to apply for the scholarship for only one child, following the specified procedure.
• Children in prep and nursery classes are not eligible to apply.
• Applicants currently receiving scholarships from other institutions are ineligible for this scholarship.
• All required documents must be submitted to the offices of the Commissioner of Mines Labor Welfare by the specified deadline.
