The Government of Pakistan has reccived a loan, Credit No.6243-PK from Iniernational Development Associaion (1DA) towards the cost of Punjab Cities Progran (PCP), being implemented through the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC). The aim of the program is to enhance the effectiveness of urban Local Governments in managing urban areas and delivering services. As part of this initiative, a Head Office and three Regional Offices have been set up in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Khanewal to offer technical assistance to Municipal Committees. PMDFC is currently looking for the expertise of the following professionals for the Punjab Cities Program (PCP).

Required Qualiflcation & Experience For GIS Officer in PMDFC Latest Job March 2024
Qualifications:
A minimum of 16 years of education or a higher degree in Geographical Information System (GIS) or Remote Sensing (RS) from institutes recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience after obtaining the qualification in GIS activities, including:
- Analyzing spatial data using mapping software.
- Identifying patterns and trends by spatially mapping data.
- Generating maps illustrating the spatial distribution of various types of data, particularly municipal services.
- Digitizing physical maps for computer use.
- Creating reports on geographic data using data visualizations.
Preferences:
Familiarity with local governments and municipal infrastructure mapping applications.
Preference will be given to candidates with a domicile of the relevant district.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit is 40 years.
